FCP X Newbie Question
Gang,
I’m new to FCP X but I am a very longtime user of FCP. My question is… Can I copy generators from one edit system to another?
We are converting over to FCP X but I have noticed that there are lots of essential broadcast elements that we need to edit our programs. We have lots of network specific titles and graphics that we use and I have converted them using Motion into generators on one edit system. Is there a way to copy these onto the other edit stations?
Any help would be appreciated…

I would recommend very highly that you check out Andreas Kiel’s outstanding app Motion Template Tool, available from his website spherico.com, which handles this issue extremely efficiently.
A lot of people have got into a lot of hot water by not observing standard practice with moving and copying templates so an app like this is of great value in keeping the process on track.
