FCP X Globally…
I’ve been harping here for a while about how the wider worlds lack of as much resistance to X as a tool – was causing literacy in it to spread elsewhere faster than in the US.
I’m now starting to see more and more of those “laptop” X explorers globally starting to post their personal videos – and some are unexpectedly Awesome.
(Watch a bit past the opening montage if you have time – it’s not all “flash” like that)
Point being if you put great tools in more hands – you often elevate the overall ability to encourage people to learn to use those tools well.
(Thanks to Chuck Bravrrman in LA for linking me to this – and reminding me that it’s harder to demonize cultures when you are allowed to see and judge how different (or not) they might be from your own!)

“That’s true, you only have to look at all the Facebook groups to see how people of many different nationalities are asking questions.

Ah, Watchtower.
Probably was the inspiration. The similarities are certainly there.
Leonardo Dalessandri did some nice chats on FCP.co around the release.
FCP X year 3 iirc?
Back when huge swaths of the industry considered it “amature” software that nobody serious would ever think to use.
