FCP X audio question getting mono yet inspector says it’s stereo
I’m doing a video with a music bed and some interviews. The interviews were originally recorded in mono with a mixer and Canon 5D M2. The interviews on the 10.0.5 FCP X timeline indicate they’re stereo in the inspector but audio is coming out only the left channel, the music bed is coming out of both left and right
speakers. How can I get the audio (in post) to come out both the left and right speakers.I now realize it may be best to send the one mono mic to both channels when in the field but isn’t there
a simple fix for this in post? Thanks in advance to the Creative Cow brain trust. BTW I’ve gotten into the
habit of recording this way because I often record a translation track on the other channel simultaneously.http://www.michaelkienitz.com
