  • FCP X and ioHd don’t play well together, any advice?

    Hello all.
Within the last month I purchased, the then FCP X version 10.0.5, using ioHD, with version 10.3.2 drivers. My problem? Well the two don’t seem to want to work together. After following the release notes that came with the new aja drivers. The A/V output under the “window” drop down menu, is greyed out, and under preferences the “A/V output” shows nothing found.
So here is my question. Does anyone out there had any of these similar problems, and has anyone had success solving these issues? I spoke with Steve at AJA tech support. I believe he did his best to help, but still nothing fixed. In the end he told me that ioHD really doesn’t support FCP X, to export my projects and view them in VTR exchange program. Thats not a work flow that works for me, and would hate to lose the ability to use my client previewing monitor. Any help or advice would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Complete info about your setup would be helpful. I wouldn’t consider the answer you received acceptable.
