Hello. I was working all the files in one of my RAID drive. However, due to too much clips, I had to move some files in to my server which is running Windows 2003 file server.

So I connected to the server using smb://servername and I copied some of the files from Primaryscratch/capture scratch to the network drive.

And deleted files that I made copy. (not deleted yet, its in trash now)

And I opened up the FCP and FCP recognized that I am missing files so I clicked reconnect, and located to the network drive. Then all the offline clip lists disappears but still, in my FCP browser, the media are still in offline and can not even let me play.

I am not sure what is problem.. is there anyway to fix this? or other way to move media files?

    Thank you!

    I figured out why.

I found that, my captured file does not have any extension (.mov) in it. So I added the extension and its now working.

    Thanks!
