FCP won’t recognize Motion?
Posted by Ignacio Holiday on April 29, 2013 at 4:18 amWhen I try to right click on a title in FCP and modify it in Motion it keeps telling me that I must have Motion 5 installed, but it is installed. I tried re-installing it and nothing changed. Why won’t it recognize motion?

April 29, 2013 at 11:59 amIf you have FCS3 also installed, trash all prefs for both sets of apps. Launch the old Motion first to re-establish paths to the old FCP7. Then launch FCP7. If these two open fine, then you should be OK again with FCP X and Motion 5.

April 29, 2013 at 4:21 pmIs Motion installed in the Applications folder or have you moved the application to another folder?

April 29, 2013 at 4:54 pmClassic! Has anyone noticed all the FCP X posts over at the FCP forum? They need to rename it FCP versions 1-7 forum or something.
