    FCP won’t open

    10 days ago I installed FCP on my new Imac. It has been working fine.

    Today I tried to open FCP from the dock and nothing happened at all.

    I went to applications and it gave me an error message. FCP cannot open, -600.

    What in the world is going on?

    Only your Mac knows this.
    Maintenance: Repair Permissions, trash FC Preferences, re-build directories..

    Hi!
    My FCPro won’t open… it starts then freezes halfway.
    How do I trash preferences? rebuild directories?
    Can anyone direct me to some directions?

    Unfortunately when all fails. It is best to reinstall.

    I’m hoping to avoid that, but we’ll see…
    What software is best to rebuild directories? Disk Warrior?
