FCP wont launch when the two fw drives housing the large amount of capture scratch are plugged into the computer. The project size itself is small, but there are over 400 gigs of capture scratch on two fw drives. How do I get the project to launch? Transfer the capture scratch to an internal drive? Break the project into halves or thirds? I tried duplicating the project to the desktop, then launching, but fcp wouldn’t even open.
    Thanks!

try trashing your preferences ..FCP Rescue from fcprescue.andersholck.com makes that easy
then reset you scratch discs in FCP’s system settings and reconnect the media.

How full are your hard drives? Always leave a minimum of 10% open on any hard drive.
