Anybody know if the G-Tech MINIATURE drive with FW 800, UB 2.0, and 7200 RPM would be a very good reliable workhorse drive to edit my Final Cut Projects on? I am connecting to a PowerBook G4, 1.67 Ghz, 2 Gig RAM.

It looks great to me. I put together my own pocket drive using a firewire enclosure from Firewire Depot and a Hitachi Travelstar 7200 drive. It works flawlessly, but you need to use it in a well ventilated area, beacuse it gets pretty hot. The nice heatsinks on the G-tech look like the answer to me. I’m assuming that the G-tech uses the same Hitachi drive. The downside is that it’s only 60-gig.
