Hello All, I hope I can explain this.
Months ago I finished a project (90mins feature doc for broadcast) and kept all of my render files etc … on the single 1Tb drive used to build and store the project. the drive had been stored away properly for 3 months and I just re-fired it to get some footage from the show for promotion and anywhere I changed the speed of the clip … FCP now runs a still of the last frame of that reel. I’ve tried re-linking media to no avail. Any ideas what this is? What caused it and how to fix it? It’s only happening in a few places, but I have shows with a lot of efx and now and concerned about their archive.
    Any ideas?

    thank you all

I’ll hazard a guess that you accidentally created one or more QT reference files instead of self contained files. Is that possible?

    Try re-rendering that section.
