fcp TRANSITIONS
For some reason the video transitions are not adding to my timeline, when i drag them a black cross appears. This was not happening in the previous sequence i was editing. Can someone please tell me why?

Hello Fariha,
This is most likely happening because there is not enough handles of either side of the video clip. try trimming the trip and then adding a transition.Alternatively you could keyframe the opacity from 0-100 or vice versa.
