FCP transition problem using transparent Tiff
I’m having a problem with transitions in FCP. I have a video layer on V1 and overlay a tiff text graphic on V2 using an edge wipe (although I experience the same problem using a simple cross dissolve). The problem is that the last frame of the transition and the next frame do not match. The last frame of the transition is slightly brighter than the remainder of the graphic. I think it may be some sort of alpha issue. I tested different transparency settings on that last frame and ruled that out as the problem. Any ideas?

Render > Full and also check on external monitor, not computer monitor. No monitor? Set Canvas to 100% after rendering.

Excellent Thax! That was it. Much appreciated! Is there any quality intensives to make up for this issue either in the graphics creation stage or on the FCP end of things?
