I have captured an entire tape into FCP and its about 11 Gig.

I chopped it up into affiliate clips and now want to edit the sound for each of these clips within Soundtrack pro. I used “send to” all the clips within the sequence and the entire project shows within STP.

But within STP, when I select an individual audio clip, it always opens up the entire file containing the audio of all the clips.

My question is how can I just edit the audio of each clip?? When I am presented with the whole audio file, I cannot even identfy the region of audio from which the clip is using. I just want to normalize on a clip by clip basis, the audio.

    Thanks for any help,

    Jim

You ay have subclipped the media.. but it still points to the riginal (HUGE) file.

You can use the Media Manager ot Batch Exort command to make those clips independant
