FCP to AE and back
Hello,
I have a problem possibly someone may help with. I am working on mostly music video’s I am exporting from FCP to AE adding effects and art and then exporting back to FCP. Everything looks great, but when I export from AE to FCP and open and replace the file into the previously editing footage, it is shorter in length.
Currently I am adjust the time of the clip to make it fit back into the edit, but it is very time consuming.I am matching the settings in FCP and AE with frame rate and HD 1080i
What may I be missing? -

Is it posibble? I do not know, but check your composition settings. Or be sure; in timeline you have the same length as it’s shown below..

Hi Alperen,
Yes those setting are accurate. I thought it may have something to do with the compression or the fps, but they all match up when I read the clip description in the final cut window.
