    Hey all.

I am having a problem that is really frustrating me. I left Final Cut Pro open over night (as usual when working on something) and when I sat down the next afternoon I was greeted by the problem.

Most of the files I have imported into my bin are on an external hard drive. Hard drives are working fine. My bin locates the files fine and they play back in full quality in the Viewer. However, the clips in the timeline suddenly say that the clips are offline and the red “unrendered” line comes up at the top of the timeline. I can render the timeline and play the entire thing back in the canvas but the quality is very poor, and it still labels all of the clips as unrendered and offline.

Quality of the rendered timeline was fine until this problem with the files being “offline” as it is claiming.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks a bunch!
