FCP + Sony NEX-FS700: structure problem on KingstonSDHC 16gb Class10
Hello, we’ve got the problem that Final Cut 6 and 7 can’t import (Log & Transfer) the footage from an FS700 when it comes from a KingstonSDHC 16gb Class10 Sd Card. I tried other cards like the SanDisk Extreme Class10 30MB/s and it worked.
The recording works fine though with the Kingston cards and I was able to take the MTS files and transcode them… everything looks good. The Kingston also has the same file structure as the SanDisk but FCP only logs the SanDisk
Has anyone already had problems with some SD Cards not importing or causing trouble.Thx

Hi Pol,
That kind of issues are not often treated on this forum, but is well known that when working with SD and other kind of media that kind of problems may arise and quite often are due to the media class/performance.
If you are not able to L&T, copy the MTS files on your HD.
Then you can try 5DtoRGB (there is a free version) or ClipWrap to convert the files to Prores.
