  • FCP slow when connected to a remote server

I have noticed, that after connecting to a remote server that FCP becomes slow, even when no activity is taking place (i.e. file transfers) When connected to other servers via Fetch, or an iDisk account, or even to other computers via file sharring there isn’t even a hiccup. But when I conect to this one particular server, it puts a lag on FCP.

    Any ideas?

“Doctor, my back hurts when I do this.”

    “So, don’t do that!”

You’ve got to give us more symptoms before we can diagnose. What kind of connectivitiy to you have? Where is this server? What’s different about this server? Clearly, if it works with others, then your problem lies with this one.
