    Hey,

I have to put my movie on digi beta tape at the local videohouse.
    They use avid mediacomposer
I rendered the movie out of Final Cut pro as a self contained movie.
Can i open this file, straight in Avid mediacomposer?
What else do i need to be aware of?

    Thx

You need to render it out in a Codec that the Avid supports. As the Post House what codec they would like you to render in.

You can download the Avid codecs directly from Avid’s website. The DNxHD codec seems to be a popular codec with Avid folks these days.
