FCP says “Project Not Found” when opening project
Running FCP 4.5 on Dual G4 1.25 with Tiger OS. Have DV project and media files stored on external Lacie firewire drive. In the middle of editing I get an error message in the Canvas window stating “Display error open and close window….” when I do this and try to open the sequence again it gives me a general error message stating “error: not found” I hit close and behind that window there’s another that says “error, out of memory” Now I know this is wrong because the memory is maxed out and I’ve edited millions of projects like this one and never gotten this error before. I tested the external Lacie on another computer (iBook G4) and it opened the project just fine. I was able to run FCP without getting the same message. Can someone help!!!!
