FCP Rescue General Question
Hello,
I have a problem with my FCP 4.5 that has been reccomended to me as being a preference error. I have been told to use FCP Rescue, the app looks fine enough, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice or concerns that they’ve come across. I am in the middle of a big project and would be sad if something bad happened…:(Thanks in advance,

Do a search on this forum for FCP Rescue and you’ll find a lot of discussion about it. I can’t recall any negative feedback on it with all the posts that mentioned it.

The FCP Prefs that are trashed by FCP Rescue are not crucial parts of the application that can cripple your project. Most of what you will lose are very minor things such as the layout you used last and things like that. Keep in mind, that if you don’t remember what you called your recent projects or where you’ve located them that could be a problem for you because the list of recent projects disappears evey time. The porjects are still there however…
