    hey guys

moving the project from one computer to another seemed to screw thins up
I’ve worked on a project on a MAC PRO , before moving back to my computer I made sure that I have everything on my external hard drive
now that I’m trying to work on one of the sequences I got different problems, one of them is that in one of the sequences some of the still photos that i’ve done some “zoom in” to are jumpy, meaning as if i had set key frames each few frames and made the photo go slightly up and down
I’ve redid the effect which is a simple thing , just scaling from 100 to 110 and slightly to the right, that didn’t change anything, I rendered, I trashed my references, copied and pasted the sequence to a new one… nothing
another problem that I noticed is that I lost the link to most of my clips, when I try to match frame or find clip (shift+f) nothing happens

is there any explanation to what is happening?

    best regards

It’s really hard to tell based on so few details, but my guess is your stills problem might be related to how your monitoring them?

Your other problem is probably related to breaking the Master-Affiliate relationship. Did you keep your project file as it was on the other machine?

as for the still photos, I haven’t changed anything, and when I open older sequences I don’t see that problem there, it’s only on the sequence I’m working on now. but when I copy and paste from the old seq to the new one I get that problem so I guess it’s a sequence thing

as for moving the project, I had everything on the hard drive and so when I opened the project on my computer I got everything well, nothing was offine or anything
I just noticed that I have same problem with anothe project that was sent to me from different counrty, and there also, when I try to match frame some clips nothing happenes
how do i fix that problem ?

Hmmm, I still think it’s a Master Affiliate thing. I’m not sure of the best way to fix the broken relationship. You could try highlighting everything in your sequence and dragging them into a new Bin in your browser. I think those would act as new Master clips and then your match-framing should work.

I haven’t tried this, though, and I’m working on an Avid right now so I can’t try it myself.
