FCP Print to video using HVR-1500?
I have a sequence I am trying to Print to Video. Everything seems to be fine when I initialize the print to video, but the Sony HVR1500 deck I am using does not respond at all. I used the HDV easy setup and am connected to the deck via firewire. Any suggestions?

Under the View menu are several settings you’ll want to check. I start with the ever useful “Refresh A/V devices”, and then make sure that Video Playback is set to your deck, and that Audio is set to “Follows Video”.
That usually clears things up, unless I’ve managed to not seat the firewire cable correctly, so check your connections next.
