FCP Plays Unrendered Video
Howcome FCP is playing unrendered video in the timeline? I’ve never experienced this before. It plays both video and audio even through the video track is unrendered. It plays it quite glitchy however and wont stop playing unless I press space bar several times. Any suggestions? I want it to function like it typically does.

The sequence preset is ProRes 422 if that helps.

FC can play non rendered stuff since many years. Thats call RT and FC will do it better or worst depending on many factors:
– Your system performance.
– Your sequence RT setting.
– The kind of stuff there is in your time-line (codec, size,..) and the kind of process (effects, transformations, rendering quality,..) the stuff goes through.
