FCP MultiCam
I am working on a project that requires MultiCam. What I am experiencing is random software crashes while in that mode. Have check all settings, etc. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and a solution.
FCP v7.0.3, Mac Pro Intel Dual 2.4, 6GB memory, ATI HD 5770, Kona3 Card for video output monitoring. OS 10.6.4.

What is the format of the source material? DV? HDV? or? How many cameras are involved and are all the clips the same format and frame rate? If not, that’s the problem.

Two Camera shoot on Sony EX3’s, same format, plus synced multitrack audio, separate recorder, wav files. Sync’d timecode sent to all three devices. That’s really it, nothing complex. But it does crash, does it have anything to do the GOP?

It might be due to the GOP structure of the video, and the audio doesn’t have it…
Try not putting the audio in the multiclip, and just use it as the audio track in the edit?
