FCP & mpeg1
How do I import an mpeg1 file from a Video CD, add footage from a dv tape and export back to mpeg1? Also anyone know why mpeg1 is not available to export to in FCP?

Mpeg is a muxed file. FCP can’t deal with that at this point.

MPEG1 export settings are available from within Compressor but you may need to create them. The codec is there, the preset might not exist yet.
