FCP & Motion compatibility?
Hello group.
I’m purchasing FCP X and I still have FCP 7 and I plan to use both in the future. If I purchase the new Motion 5 app will that work with both FCP versions or do I need to still use Motion 4 with FCP 7?

M5 does not connect directly to FCP6/7 in the form of a ‘send to’ type function. Nor does M4 connect directly to FCP X.
You have to export/import to move media.
You might want to go to the Motion forum and do some reading on the M5 before you spend the money.Scott Sheriff
