    FCP Log & Capture Problem

    Problem resolved by pushing ‘play’ on the camera rather than in FCP – cannot find the reason why though.

    Hi,

    I’m trying to log and capture footage. I’m currently running Final Cut Pro 6.
    Capturing from Sony HDR FX-7, 1080i

    I’m capturing using HDV-1080i60 presets in Final Cut.

    The problem I’m having is that every time I set a tape to capture, i like play & capture now; it starts to capture for approx. 10-30 frames and then says ‘searching for media’ i’ve tried it on several tapes to no avail.

    Can anyone please help me?

    Log and capture instead of capture now.
