FCP KEEPS CRASHING WHEN I RENDER?
WHY IS THIS, IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN I AM AT ABOUT 66%, I REALLY NEED TO OUTPUT THIS PROJECT NOW. THE FOOTAGE IS DV AND I HAVE LOADS RAM ETC
IT MAKES ME LAUGH, ALWAYS WHEN I AM ON A IMPORTANT PROJECT I HAVE COMPUTER PROBLEMS AAGH.

What is your hard drive setup?

1tb with 400gb free connected with firewire 400

What’s with all the YELLING!!!
It’s possible that you have a corrupted media file or render file. I would delete all the render files and then just try rendering sections. If you repeatedly crash at a certain section of your timeline then try and narrow it down to a specific clip.
Also, trash your pref’s before starting the hunt.Michael Alberts
