Hi, I believe there are some issues with the new JVC HDV camera and FCP. is this true and is there a solution on the way?
I am considering purchasing a JVC camera to do studio packshots on chroma key (in DV to start with). do you forsee any problems with this choice.
    Thanks again, Ezio

Search the forums for JVC HDV and see a whole slew of discussions on this.

In short, FCP only works with the JVC HDV camera natively if you shoot 720p30. All other formats won’t work.

unless you import the footage with HDVxDV or Lumiere HD and sacrifice timecode.

    Or do this AJA solution:
