  • FCP handling PAL Timecode and NTSC video

We are capturing PAL Digibeta as NTSC. We are running the digibeta through a Snell & Wilcox standards converter to convert to NTSC and then into a Kona LH card for capturing in FCP as NTSC. Our RS-422 comes out of our J-3 deck and into a patch panel for remote with no conversion. So our deck is sending a PAL Timecode and our standards converter is sending an NTSC video. We are noticing a large amount of timecode breaks. Is this because we are sending PAL timecode and NTSC video? Is there a way to convert the timecode.
