  • FCP export: maintaining 4:3 ratio in a 16:9 space?

Hi , I am working with two archival films material, obviously in a 4:3 ratio, and placing them side by side inside a 16:9 workspace–they look perfectly fine while working in FCP, but upon export using same settings , they are stretched! I’m confused–I am using a 1280 x 720 sequence and DV pixels.

[Jeanne Liotta] “-I am using a 1280 x 720 sequence and DV pixels.”
    That do not match.
    Make 1280×720 Squared pixels.

    To be specific…make a 1280×720 ProRes 422 29.97 sequence…
