    FCP does not see KONA LSe

    Hi All,
    I just bought a MacPro and installed a KONA LSe card in it. FCP does not recognize the card. It gives me an error on launch that says “Kona card is missing”. The card is working though because the computer sees it and the control panel controls it.

    Here are some details:

    MacPro 2.66 with 2gb of Ram
    FCP 5.0.4
    All software is updated
    Kona control panel version 3
    Kona card in slot 3

    Any thoughts?

    Since you are on an intel machine, you need to be running FCP 5.1.1 universal. You send in your original disks for a cross grade for $49. I got my disks in about 6 days after I sent them out. Your version of FCP is for PowerPCs only.
