FCP Crashing when selecting log and capture!
Hello,
Needing some expertise on a capturing issue from a Sony (consumer) HDR-HC7 1080i60 to FCP 5.0 Mac G4. I read and did what your existing thread on this issue said by creating the easy setup and followed the connection advise but my Mac crashes everytime I click on log and capture FCP. When I first start FCP it is recognizing the Sony.
Please Help!

I don’t know that camera or the workflow, but when FCP starts acting strangely trash your prefs and repair permissions.
