    when I try to compress my PAL video ( shot with PAL camcorder) in Fcp Compressor to MPG-4 PAL source material Small Progressive the batch failed with a quick time error message -50.. In my project I have all settings in PAL DV 48Khz. What Im doing wrong???

    Make sure everything is okay with Quicktime, especially with the components. I had a similar problem with compressor. In my case I had an mpeg2 clip in the timeline and the Quicktime mpeg2 component was missing which caused the failure at that point.
