I’ve upgraded to FCS in addition to buying a new iMac. I’ve installed my older version of Grafitti (2) but FCP can’t seem to find the plug-in. Where should the Boris folder reside?

    thanks

    Hi Mark,

Well if you purchased a new iMac then you have a MacIntel based system and Graffiti 2 (which is antiquated software at this stage) is not designed to run on that chip. You will have to upgrade from Graffiti 2 to Graffiti 5.2, which should operate as expected. The installer will place all of the Graffiti software into the right folder for you automatically, without you having to tell it where to place the files.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Peter,

My version is old but it does run just fine on this machine – that is, the Keyframer app does, independently of FCP. It just does not show up in FCP effects.

    thanks

My own hunch is that it’s running in Rosetta which works fine standalone but will not run in Final Cut since it needs to be “Universal” for that.
