January 2, 2010 at 6:09 pmThank you so much. Got things going and it seems to have corrected the issue. I did trash my pref just for the hell of it. So far I was able to use DVD studio pro and fcp without a problem. I hope it stays like this. Thanks again.

January 3, 2010 at 9:53 pmI guess I spoke too soon. I finished my last project without an issue. Not its seems like the situation has returned. I started a new project and as soon as I dropped media to my timeline it beachballed. The video has been used in the past and I even tried another clip same thing, even restarted the project. I thinki I may transfer the media to another drive and reformat the drive one by one.
