  FCP Audio Question

  Hi Guys,

  Im doing a job for a company at the moment and I need to ask a couple of questions about FCP.
  There is a ‘blackmagic’ audio card inside the machine running 10.4.11 OS, 3GHZ CPU and 4 GB RAM…
  Thing is I cannot get an analogue audio signal into the machine.I have desk with a mic and I need to get a signal in for V/O’s..I have tried everything.It is a simple thing or should be mixers mix op to deck left ip …Any ideas???

  If I cannot get this working as an alternative is there any way I could use a firewire microphone?
  like a dynamic mic with a firewire instead of an XLR…may not be a great signal but it is just an offline suite and quality is not essential..

  Finally there is a very slight sync issue between audio and video on the monitor and its driving the editor mad hehe.Any suggestions as to how I can lock it? Again Ive looked at most of the settings but Im no expert..not yet anyway :))
