  FCP Audio Bands Shift Out of Sync when copying to new timeline

  In FCP I copied an edited video from a 23.98 timeline into a 29.97 timeline. I did this to merge the project with other 29.97 footage.
  Problem is that all my audio fades(bands) from the 23.98 timeline have shifted their position to about 3-4 seconds out of sync.
  Does anyone know why this may be?
