I can’t get HD video to import into Final Cut Pro. It used to work, but now a message that says, “one or more P2 clips (from my panasonic hvx200 camera) failed to import-probable incomplete or corrupt files” appears. I’ve tried different types of clips but only 480i works.

    Please help!

What version of FCP are you using. 5.1.2 greatly approves P2 import.

I had problems with files on the Firestore, I was able to get some of them with P2 Log from https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/8/919223?

the demo is fully functional but you can only import that first clip.

If the footage is 24pN, then make sure you turn off the checkbox for “remove pulldown and duplicate frames”. This will prevent the clips from importing reliably, if it imports them at all. Just right click a clip before adding it to the que and select “Prefrences”.
