    Hello,

I’m sure this has been covered extensively in the archives, and I will continue my search, but can anyone help me with this specific situation:

I have purchased a JCV TM-910SU monitor and I want to use it to monitor my work in FCP 5. I will be editing SD content. What would be a solid way to run the monitor out of my G5? (2GHz Dual-core PowerPC G5, 2 gig ram)

Do I need a breakout box? A new video card? I’d simply like to be able to come out of the computer via a BNC cable. As it is right now, there is no BNC out in the back of my computer, although I hear some of them come with that feature stock.

Any recommendations on what to buy or what to do? I know a temporary fix would be to go firewire>camcorder>monitor, but I want something more solid.

    Best regards,
    Scott
