FCP 7.0 output HDMI to Onyko Receiver – Can’t monitor 5.1
Aloha,
So I’m trying to figure out the best solution to monitor 5.1 audio out of Final Cut through my receiver via my intensity pro card and wondering if anyone has had any success. Little bit about my setup:
1) Within FCP made sure my audio output settings were set to 6 channel all dual mono
2) Assigned each track to the proper channel in my timeline
3) Have the project settings piped to the output of the Blackmagic card into the Onyko – which actually is setup to output to 8 speakers if need beNo matter what setting I set the Onyko receiver to I can’t seem to single out any tracks to anything other than a stereo mix. I can’ seem to find anything in the Black Magic Design Intensity tab that resides in my System Preferences, and just wondering is there something I’m missing or is this even possible? Any help would be much obliged.
