FCP 7.0 and FCP 7.0.3
I have a laptop with FCP 7.0 and a desktop with FCP 7.0.3. I just started working on a project and want to be able to work at home sometimes on my laptop. I copied the project from 7.0.3 and opened the it on my laptop but didn’t copy the media so the sequence I was working on was offline of course.
The project opened up OK but I’m afraid to hook up the drive in case it gets messed up. Can you go back and forth between the two versions of FCP? I have found nothing about backward compatibility. Apple’s FCP 7.0.3 release notes don’t address this question.

Update the 7.0 to 7.0.3. FCP 7.0 had horrid bugs. Just use the system update.
