    Hello everyone.

I’m editing a short film that was shot on both 16mm film (about 30%) and 1080i HD (about 70%). The finla output is SD PAL DVD projected onto large screen. I’m new in creating mixed media workflows – can you please send me advice on how to handle the two different types of footage, including best sequence setting for FCP 7?

I need to make my images broadcast safe – there were a few hot spots on our actors heads where the light was set too bright. I know that a yellow exclamation mark indicates that either the luminance or chroma is a problem, but how I knowwhich is the problem? And how do I fix it?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks

What is the frame rate of everything? How was the 16mm transferred?
