  FCP 7 Ripple Markers on timeline suddenly not working

  Hi there,

  In the last 24 hours, my “ripple markers” feature has suddenly stopped working– that is, when I cut/delete a chunk out of my timeline, the markers stay in place on the timeline… although my ripple-marker button to the right IS depressed, and this was never an issue before.

  Sorry to bug y’all with such a seemingly-piddly question, but can’t find anything else online, and I just spent 5 hours placing and naming markers for selects along a timeline which I now must cut down before sunset– though now, when I cut, the timeline markers stay in place… making all my work appear basically useless :’-(

  Already trashed FCP7 preferences.

  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
