    Hi there,
I’ve worked extensively with FCP 6 but am just now getting into version 7. Working on a project that involves multiclipping I found that if I made an edit and placed a transition there, the next time I went back and changed the active angle the muliticlip would collapse. By collapse I mean I am left with the original master clip (of that angle) instead of a multiclip. This only happens if there is a transition on the edit point. So I ask, is this a new restriction with 7 or a bug?

    Thanks,
    Christian

I’m not seeing that behavior here… it’s keeping the multiclip here intact.

Well thanks for the confirmation Jerry. The edit wasn’t that extensive so I’ve made it through just avoiding the issue this time.

    Hi Christian,
I have the exact same problem. This is awful and I don’t know how to fix this. I have FCP 7.0.2 — anybody know what’s going on?
