fcp 6.0.5 update causes problems
Posted by Sam Woolf on January 12, 2009 at 12:04 pmI’ve just installed the 6.0.5 update and now the canvas in fcp is completly white when paused. When playing the video shows fine, but when stopped you just get white instead of the still frame.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Sam.

Did you have any other upgrade issues. I’m about to upgrade several things to get FCP capibiities for XDCAM EX editing.
FCP 6.0.1 > 6.0.5
OSX 10.5.2 > 10.5.6
QT 7.4.1 > 7.6also upgrades to my Hardware: AJA IO HD & CalDigit HDPro Array

February 24, 2009 at 10:22 pmHi Jeffrey,
As it turned out, the problem was not related to the fcp update. The system is working fine now and I haven’t had any other upgrade related issues.
Fingers crossed, you should be fine!
Sam.
