FCP 6.0.2
Posted by Rod Reding on May 16, 2008 at 6:44 pmWe’re in need of FCP 6.0.2 update but it’s nowhere to be found on the Apple site. The following link – https://www.apple.com/support/downloads/finalcutpro602.html
directs me to the upgrade package which has 6.0.3.Is there anywhere I can get 6.0.2?
Thanks in advance,
Rod

May 16, 2008 at 6:57 pmNope…you can only get FCP 6.0.3. Apple doesn’t keep up the previous updates, much to our chagrin.
6.0.3 is a decent upgrade…fixes errors that 6.0.2 had. Why not go all the way? Need to match up with someone who has 6.0.2?

May 16, 2008 at 9:12 pmWe are in the middle of some projects on a workstaion with 6.0.2 We want to utilize a Macbook Pro which has 6.0.1 which would take over one of the projects waiting to get done.
If anyone has a copy of the 6.0.2 installer, I would greatly appreciate a copy of it.
Thanks,
Rod

May 16, 2008 at 9:17 pmLook in the Library on the root of your system drive for a folder called “Receipts”. There should be a package in here for FCP 6.0.2.

May 18, 2008 at 1:38 amDo you guys know if I need to download the updates for FCP in succession or can I just download FCP 6.0.3 and get everything I need? I have 6.0 and have never updated it. My Mac was not plugged into the net. Is there a benefit to having 1 version over the other? Where do I find these updates? I went to the Apple site, but I guess I suck at navigating through it, because I could not find what I was looking for. Thanks.
