FCP 6 won’t see AJA Io no matter what I try
Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.
I’m trying to capture a bunch of Beta tapes from a Sony deck through an AJA Io to a Macbook running FCP 6. The ProIo control panel sees the Io just fine. I’m getting video on a monitor hooked up to the Io. I just can’t seem to get FCP to see the video. I’ve tried installing the latest drivers, I’ve tried legacy drivers, I’ve tried downgrading and re-upgrading the firmware of the Io, but nothing seems to work.
I was hoping someone might have an idea what I could try next.

Each time You’ve tried different drivers, have you uninstalled the previous versions before installing the next version?

Yes. And I’m careful to do a restart after each uninstall and each re-install.
