fcp 6 capturing problems
have just upgraded and installed fcp 6 running 10.4.11 and am having capturing problems. have tried with dsr 45 deck and with mini hdv/dv deck.
fcp says ‘vtr ok’,it can see timecode and can control the deck, but when i try to capture i get a message saying ‘attempt to capture without a video device selected. Please select a video device in your capture presets and try again.’ i have a video device selected in my capture presets…flumoxed.
have been using fcp for a long time and cannot find a way round this one. any ideas? will trying trashing prefs again but if anyone has any insight i’d love to hear it.
