FCP 5.1 Won’t Open….HELP!
Just loaded final cut studio into my macbook pro duo core laptop today, then came home from work and it will not open. It acts like it’s gonna open and then never opens. I read a post from someone a few months earlier who had the same problem and the answer was to trash the preferences but I do not know what that means. Please help me!

Just say that I have exactly the same problem as you. I have reinstall FCP but problem persists. Probably it has to do with Prefernces as you mentioned. but also I don’t know how to fix them.
